BOYO Vision VTL500R Wi-Fi(R) Wireless Night Vision License Plate Camera NEW

Boyo's brand new VTL500R is the first wifi license plate backup camera.

The camera has a wide angle lens, infrared lights for night vision, IP67 waterproof rating, and parking guidelines.

The built in WiFi which allows you to connect the camera to your iOS or Android device wirelessly.

That's right kids. But before we get to that, lets mount this bad boy to my license plate and power it up.

The camera is super easy to install. The first step to the installation is to drill a small,

inconspicuous hole somewhere out of view, this is what you'll run the power cable through.

The camera comes with two wiring options, the easy option is to use the cigarette lighter

cable and run it through the trunk all the way to the cigarette plug.

The second option is to use the trigger power cable and ground it to your vehicle

chassis and connect the positive lead to reverse light.

Now, in order to connect the camera and your phone, you have to download the BoyoView app.

Next, go into your wifi settings and connect to the VTL500R's wifi. Open the BoyoView app and boom!

Look at that! You get a live feed of the camera to your phone.

There aren't really any menu or camera settings but you can turn the parking guidelines off if you want.

The app also allows you to record and save videos and even play them back.

This camera is great because you don't have to worry about getting a monitor if you don't have a screen display,

you don't need a DVR or memory cards, nothing. Just the camera.
