Viper 4115V Basic 1-Way One Button Remote Start System With Directed DB3
Viper 4115V With DB3
The convenience of remote start in one of the smallest Viper remotes ever. Perfect for use with OEM keyless
remotes integrated into the OEM key. Get the longer remote start range you’ve been looking for!
Specifications:
·
Remotes: 2 1-button 1-Way
The number and type of remotes that come with the system.
·
Range: Up to 1/4 Mile
Viper systems use Radio Frequency (RF) technologies to communicate with your
vehicle, and these technologies
each have a typical operating range. Range varies by the technology used, but also because of environmental factors
such as interference from other RF sources. Currently Viper systems with the longest range use Spread Spectrum Technology (SST) with range up to 1 mile.
·
Remote
Start:
Remote Start allows you to start your engine by remote control, allowing your
vehicle's climate control system
to warm up or cool down the cabin before you get in. Range is important with remote start (your vehicle might be
parked down the street, or at the far end of a parking lot) and 2-Way remote start systems are preferred (because they confirm that your vehicle has started.)
·
SmartStart
Compatible
A Viper SmartStart module can be added to this system to make your vehicle
SmartStart ready.
·
Encryption: 66-Bit
Clone-safe, anti-Code Grabbing technology comes standard on every Viper system.
·
Domelight
Supervision
A great safety feature: illuminates your vehicle's dome light for 30 seconds
when you disarm your security system or unlock the doors of your remote start
system.
·
#
of Auxiliary Channels: 0
Auxiliary channels are electrical outputs controlled by your keychain remote,
which your installer can interface
with systems in your car to allow you to operate them by remote control. Additional parts or labor will be required.
Directed DB3
Description:
Get more control over your vehicle's security system
Many cars today feature an immobilizer security system that won't allow the car to start without first sensing the presence of a chip imbedded
in the key or key fob. Directed's DB3 module tells your vehicle through its databus that it's okay for an aftermarket remote start or security
system to start the engine or unlock the doors without that chip.
The Directed DB3 module works in even more vehicles than the original DB-ALL module or its successor the DBALL2, and is compatible
with all Viper, Directed, and Python security systems, as well as most other brands.
Simplifies your security wiring
A single data-to-data harness connects your Viper (or other Directed) system to the DB3, so you don't have to hard wire your security
system to a lot of door locks, solenoid releases, and other sensors — you'll save a huge amount of installation time. The DB3 module
usually connects to your vehicle through 2 to 6 hardwired data connections, but we do carry some vehicle-specific T-Harnesses that
make that connection much easier (call for details). Your DB3 will come pre-programmed for your specific vehicle, so you'll have total
control over locking and unlocking doors, starting the engine, arming and disarming the factory alarm,
and any other computerized function your vehicle can perform.
Even simpler installation for remote start-ready vehicles
Many vehicles are remote-start-ready. If you own one of these, you probably won't even need a separate remote start system
— just use a Directed DB3 and a T-Harness (if available). To activate the remote start, you'll need to press "Lock" three times
on your factory remote. For extended range, add a Viper SmartStart module to control your vehicle remotely by smartphone.
